What is Cash on Delivery ?
Cash on Delivery means that you will pay the courier person in Cash when your order reaches you, and not while at the time of placing the order.

Q1: Is Cash on Delivery available for all locations?
Cash on Delivery is available only in certain locations in India (Not for International customer). Unfortunately, courier companies don’t offer this service in all locations, and hence, once you place your order, our customer service team will assist you in case, Cash on Delivery is not available for your pin code. Typically, all big metros, and most big towns can avail the Cash on Delivery facility. Certain states like West Bengal are completely unavailable for Cash on Delivery.
Q2: Is Cash on Delivery available for all products? :
Cash on Delivery is available for all non-customized orders. Customized Orders refer to an order, which is specifically created for you. In such cases, you will need to pay the custom amount in advance (not the whole amount) For example, Gemstone in a pendant, ring or bracelet is a customized order. Similarly orders including customized certificate (such as GTL, IGI, IGI-GTL) is also a customized order. So you will just need to pay the amount for the ring, pendant, bracelet or certificate upfront, and you can avail Cash on Delivery for the remaining amount.
Q3: Is Cash on Delivery available for any amount? :
We offer Cash-on-Delivery service using reputed 3rd party courier companies like FedEx, Aramex, DTDC, etc. All of them have different COD policies regarding maximum amount of COD based on the area being delivered to. As such, there is no problem in COD of amount less than INR 20,000. For amounts greater than INR 20,000 certain pincodes may not have the COD facility. Because the courier pincodes and their policy changes often, we request that you reach out to our Customer Support team for up-to-date information for your pincode.
Q4: How does Cash on Delivery work? :
When you place a Cash on Delivery order, our customer support agent verifies your name, address, phone details in your order, as well as Cash on Delivery availability in your location. Based on what the agent finds out, you will be informed of the approval via email, or denial via phone. Once approved, we start working on your order, and dispatch it via the Cash on Delivery courier company. The Cash on Delivery courier company agent will bring the package to your home once it reaches your city. You will have to pay him the amount in Cash so that he can give the package to you.
Q5: How many days does it take? :
Cash on Delivery takes the same number of days to deliver as typical normal courier. For metros, courier companies typically take 2 to 3 days to deliver the product from the date dispatched. For non-metros, courier companies typically take 4 to 7 days to deliver the product from the date it is dispatched.
Q6: Can I pay the Cash on Delivery courier person in any other way than Cash? :
No, our COD partner will only accept cash payment at the time of delivery.
Q7: Will the Cash on Delivery courier person call before he comes? :
Typically, the Cash on Delivery courier person do not call or SMS on the first attempt. You will receive a SMS in case, you weren’t at home when the arrive, and you can co-ordinate with them so that the second attempt is successful.
Q8: Can I open the package before paying the money?
No. Courier boys are not allowed to have any open packets with them – even if you are going to accept the delivery afterwards. Hence, you must pay them Cash for them to hand over the package to you.
